Esplanade PVM's DJ sets will transport you to the beat of the turntables with 20 diverse artists every Wednesday and Thursday at noon, as well as during the Wednesday Happy Hour. A musical universe of electro-pop, house, jazz, funk, soul, African, Brazilian and other genres is set to energize PVM all summer long. From June 7 to September 14.
Inspired by ancestral drums, funky basslines, and infectious grooves, Sugarface BelFo will play records from Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean with a focus on house, funk, and tropical beats, reminiscent of her "Vinyls ao Vivo" residency bringing a lively energy to your day!
DJ Pøptrt is a celebrated Indigenous artist originating from the Mohawk Nation of Kahnawá:ke. Her sound combines her Kanien’kehá:ka heritage with contemporary electronic music, culminating in a truly unique and captivating aesthetic. Pøptrt's journey as an artist began in 2015 when she delved into the world of media and art in Montréal, where she swiftly gained prominence as a rising multidisciplinary artist in the industry. Her dynamic sets span across many styles of house, tech house, disco house and more.
Pøptrt's art seamlessly merges her cultural influences and Pop-art sensibilities, resulting in an artistic experience that is both immersive and captivating. She has performed at some of Canada's most prestigious events and venues, including Piknic Électronik, Future Forest, Igloofest, and is currently the resident DJ at Club Unity.
